Big storm comin tomorrow and then another one after that. Tomorrow's storm is gonna be a storm within a storm, more complicated than a teenage genius with PMS.
This wind is so cold it feels like the devil turned inside out.
No mountain stage on NPR tonight. There is a fund raiser instead. I keep hearing that same phone number to pledge over and over.
Gotta paint some more. We got guests coming out to the house because the Jelly jar has her birthday coming up and she's going to be even more of teenager than she is already.
There is alot work to do at work.
and
There is no denying that the winter is starting to feel a little long.
I am working on story right now that is a short road to nowhere, I guess you could call it a "cul de sac." This is a nice way of saying "dead end" I have a few of them.
The sign on my road says....(Dead End) but its faded and you can barely see it anymore. I think I will complain to the town highway department and maybe they will replace it with a sign that says "no outlet" instead. I never really knew what the difference was but it sounds different. "No Outlet" sure is a stupid name for a band. Might as well call emselves "the dead enders" (alt country) or "Cul de Sac" (techno)
On a happier note, the neice had an 11 pounder. Big enough to place up there on the bassmasters tour...... "Son, thats a good un" I am a great uncle four times over! "The good uns" Now thats a good name for a bluegrass band.
I think I wanna do a cover of the theme song from Virgil Ward's Championship Fishing show. Having that one on the set list will definitely throw the peeps a curveball when we get into our "Bad Songs From the 70s portion of the show. It'll sound good with harp and electric guitar. Plus, nobody has ever heard it. People will think I wrote it...... until I get to the part that mentions Virgil Ward.
Another name for a band: "Virgil Ward and The Guides." (Christian Rock) The only problem is that the Name "Virgil Ward" sounds like it could be the name of a some ultra conservative senator from Wyoming who is makin a bid for the White House by talking about family values on his stump speeches.
"From the lakes of northern Canada
To the gulf of mexico
Where ever fish are biting
Thats where I wanna go"
Yup if I do. It'll be warm again.
Virgil Ward is Canadian and I am pretty sure he is dead. I'll be singing this song today.
